Sailesh Kolanu’s HIT (Homicide Intervention Team) series, HIT: The Third Case opened at the theaters on May 1. As per a report by Sacnilk, the film featuring Nani, Srinidhi Shetty and Prateik Smita Patil has minted ₹18 crore in the domestic theaters.
HIT 3 box office figures
The outlet stated that HIT 3 gained Rs18.18 crore on its opening day backed with an impressive 87.82% Telugu occupancy, and registered afternoon shows at 92.37%.
This serves as Nani’s second best opening, almost beating Dasara (2023), which garnered ₹23.2 crore on day one. The figures surpassed Ante Sundaraniki (2022), Hi Nanna (2023) and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram (2024), which recorded ₹6.25 crore, ₹4.9 crore and ₹9 crore respectively.
