From Met Gala to the Cannes Film Festival, Indian designers are gaining traction globally.

Indian fashion designers are becoming increasingly well-known both domestically and internationally. In addition to our favorite Bollywood performers, Hollywood celebrities are now selecting pieces designed by Indian designers. Have a look:
Jennifer Lopez
The stunning Jennifer Lopez wore a stunning jewelry set by Manish Malhotra to the launch of her forthcoming Netflix movie Atlas. It required more than 2100 hours to create this piece of art, which features 165-carat emeralds and yellow canary diamonds.
Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian, the reality TV star and supermodel, looked stunning in a red hot chiffon saree adorned with sequins for a magazine photo a few years back. In this incarnation, she looked incredibly attractive as a Desi Indian girl, and designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee deserves all the praise for creating this masterpiece. She also donned a look in the authentic lehenga look by the same ace designer.
Meryl Streep
The Honorary Palme d’Or was given to Hollywood icon Meryl Streep at the 77th Cannes Film Festival’s opening ceremony. She wore stunning dangler pendant earrings by Indian jewellery designer Hanut Singh on the red carpet for this unique occasion.
Mindy Kaling
For the Met Gala in 2024, Mindy Kaling, who is incredibly talented and gorgeous, dressed in an exquisite gown created by Gaurav Gupta. The artwork, titled “The Melting Flower of Time,” was a wonderful fit for the “The Garden of Time” theme.
Jennifer Aniston
One of the most famous collaborations ever was this one! When Jennifer Aniston wore an ivory chikankari lehenga by Manish Malhotra in her movie Murder Mystery 2 (2023), we were all pleasantly delighted. She had an amazing appearance!
Beyonce
The American pop singer-songwriter has a special place in her heart for Indian fashion designers, as well as their clothing. During her Renaissance tour, she wore three pieces designed by Gaurav Gupta; she looked stunning in Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla for a music video and pre-wedding events with Isha Ambani; and she chose Falguni and Shane Peacock for a gala and Isha’s sangeet ceremony. There is still more on the list! Beyoncé also looked stunning at Isha’s pre-wedding celebration while wearing Anita Dongre jewelry.
