Tarun Mansukhani’s multi-starrer film Housefull 5 has been acing the box office in the domestic chains in India. As per the report in Sacnilk, the film has minted ₹54 crore net.

The website mentioned that the entertainer opened with ₹24 crore net in India and ₹40 crore globally. On its first Saturday, it bought another ₹30 crore net, taking the toll to ₹54 crore. The film witnessed a 33.18% occupancy, with a surge in numbers. It also saw decent engagement in Chennai with 52% occupancy.
Two models of climaxes in Housefull 5
The film will be featured in two distinct climaxes – Housefull 5 A and B. Tarun explained the notion of the difference in the plot conclusion in conversation with ANI, “Sajid (Sajid Nadiadwala) sir had this idea about 30 years ago. And finally, he brought it to Housefull 5. And that was one of the most exciting things for me as a director to make a film with two different climaxes.”
He added, “At that point in time, it sounds very exciting and you feel very challenged and want to make it as a filmmaker. But when you come down to doing it actually on set, then you realise the real challenges.”
The film stars Fardeen Khan, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chunky Panday, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjit and Nikitin Dheer in important roles.
