Deadpool & Wolverine fame Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness have eventually got divorced, as stated in the court records. The divorce judgment was reported on June 12, as quoted by the New York’s Suffolk County Supreme Court on June 23. The website features the case status as “disposed,” as reported by People magazine.

Jackman, 56, and Furness, 69, tied the knot in 1996 and got separated in 2023 post 27 years in association. Furness appealed for divorce from Jackman around two years after September 2023. As per the court details, the divorce was filed and later uncontested by the opposite party. Hence a judge’s sign-off was the minimum requirement.
Post the divorce application, Furness said her “heart and compassion go out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal.” Terming it a “profound wound that cuts deep”.
The duo in mentioned in their joint statement that family has been their “highest priority.” They want to move ahead with “gratitude, love, and kindness.” and sought for privacy as they “navigates this transition in all of our lives.”
