Two days after the uproar erupted around his show, India’s Got Latent, stand-up comedian Samay Raina has finally released a statement. According to the comic, he has removed every episode off YouTube. Actor Aly Goni posted his thoughts on this a few minutes after he tweeted. The actor thinks the broadcaster should have kept all of the programs except the one with Ranveer Allahbadia.
Aly Goni, a well-known television personality, has publicly endorsed Samy Raina. Goni said he was disappointed with the choice and “They forced Samay to delete all the episodes of Latent… not cool… that one episode should have been deleted, that’s it. He has worked hard to make this show successful. Where everyone was praising him a few days back, now everyone is against him lol kya yaar.”
Raftaar, Badshah, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Rakhi Sawant, Tony Kakkar, Tanmay Bhat, Bharti Singh, and Haarsh Limbachiyaa are a few who have starred in the panel earlier on India’s Got Latent.
With several incidences igniting public discussion, the controversy surrounding India’s Got Latent has been a huge talking point. Although some followers still stand by Ranveer, others have denounced his remarks, sparking intense debates on social media over the obligations of public individuals and influencers.
In addition to Goni, a number of other television performers responded to the incident, including Nakuul Mehta, Chhavi Mittal, Rakhi Sawant, Abhinav Shukla, and Uorfi Javed.
A complaint was made on February 10 against the show’s organizers, comedian Samay Raina, Jasprit Singh, Ashish Chanchlani, social media personality Apoorva Mukhija, and Ranveer Allahbadia. They were accused of using derogatory language on the show in the complaint, which was filed with the Maharashtra Women’s Commission and the Mumbai Commissioner.
