Apoorva Mukhija aka The Rebel Kid is allegedly getting death threats as a result of criticism over her appearance on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent. She and YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia have come under fire for their offensive and divisive comments on the show. Her close friend Rida Tharana has now defended her against the abuse and threats.

The Free Press Journal claims that online threats of death, sexual assault, and harassment have been made against Instagram influencer Apoorva Mukhija.

Tharana voiced out at the hostility that Apoorva is experiencing, emphasizing how women are frequently singled out for persecution just for being themselves.

Squashing the threats, she wrote, “It’s so unfair, the hate and cruelty she’s being put through.” She also added that nobody should experience this pain ever.

Apoorva Mukhija is currently in legal hot water after a formal complaint was filed against her and she was questioned by police earlier this week.
