Is Sabrina Carpenter’s latest single hinting at Shawn Mendes-Camila Cabello’s relationship?

Still, there are a number of reasons why the song has been making waves. The topic of the song has prompted conjecture among online users that Carpenter’s brief affair with Shawn Mendes, which ended in reconciliation with Camila Cabello in 2023, is relevant to the song.
The lyrics say,“I heard you’re back together and if that’s true / you’ll just have to taste me when he’s kissing you” It is well known that the Senorita vocalists dated from 2019 to 2021, progressed from being friends to lovers, then briefly got back together at Coachella in 2023.
But earlier in the year, the singer of Stitches was seen with Carpenter multiple times, and at the time, an insider informed ET that they were dating. “Sabrina and Shawn have started dating. The source added, “They have been spending a lot of time together and attempting to keep things low-key.” Therefore, Mendes and Cabello resumed their romance soon after the Espresso singer’s breakup, and all the clues point to that incident as the inspiration for the song.
