Recently spotted in the hit film, Sikandar, Salman Khan is on a streak of working on new projects. Keeping the waves of his comeback, a Pinkvilla report has stated that he has been zeroed on for a film, a supposed war drama. The superstar is set to collaborate with Apoorva Lakhia for a film based on the Galwan Valley 2020 conflict at the Indian borders.
Salman Khan’s upcoming projects
As quoted by The Hollywood Reporter, Salman Khan has been approached with newer projects by several filmmakers after the Sikandar’s release in March. The film that will feature a war between the Chinese troops and Indian army in Ladakh is set to be the next venture for the actor.
Meanwhile, Apoorva Lakhia known for Shootout at Lokhandwala, Mission Istanbul, and more will be at the forefront directing the war actio.
The film production, destined to be handled by Salman Khan Films, will be filmed in Ladakh. Moreover, if media reports are true, Salman has also been offered new projects by Ali Abbas Zafar, Kabir Khan, and Siddharth Anand, with whom he has worked on movies like Sultan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Pathaan, respectively.
About the Galwan Valley issue
The Galwan Valley marked the darkest military clash after six decades in the Galwan Valley of Ladakh, along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) between India and China.
The issue was associated with the conflicted region of Aksai Chin, claimed by India but captured by China.
