Is SUGA set to receive a special discharge ceremony post military discharge?
Fans are raving over the upcoming album, and a reported world tour after the group’s reunion on June 21.

BTS member SUGA is all set to wrap up his military duty on June 21, emerging as the final member in the group. Post this, the singer will not have to perform his alternative work, a segment of his social service enlistment as per the ROK laws. As per the Military Manpower Administration exam the service will face a run time of 21 months of work in sectors like welfare centers, community service centers, and post offices.
About SUGA’s alternative service and ceremony
BTS members RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook have finally been released from the service after spending their respective enlistment allocations. SUGA was awarded a grade 4 in his physical exam, ahead his military enlistment. Thereby he was given the alternative service. Reportedly, due to a shoulder injury, the rapper had underwent surgery.
After his release, he is set to reunite with the remaining members. As per estimation, the group will also go on a livestream. Meanwhile, J-Hope has earlier dropped subtle hints during the undisclosed Killin’ It Girl promotional schedule on June 21. In addition, there may not be a designated discharge ceremony and rather step into the workplace.
Recently, all members of the group attended the debut anniversary concert of J-Hope’s HOPE ON THE STAGE World Tour. SUGA too cheered for his mate and waved at his fans during the performance, marking his first appearance since September 22, 2023, in addition to the DUI case on August 6, 2024.
