According to a source quoted by Page Six, Vanessa Kirby, who played Princess Margaret on the popular Netflix series The Crown, is engaged to lacrosse player Paul Rabil. They officially announced their relationship on Instagram in November 2023 after Rabil, also known as “The LeBron of Lacrosse” or the “lax lord,” shared a number of images of the actress along with a heartfelt note.
“From the very minute we first met in Des Moines, around the world and back, life is far better, more purposeful, and more beautiful with you,” the message stated.

Rabil was formerly married to fellow lacrosse player Kelly Berger from 2014 to 2017 and dated actress Eiza González from The 3 Body Problem fame. He became president and co-founder of the Premier Lacrosse League in 2021 after retiring from the Boston Cannons. In addition, he owns Rabil Companies, a company dedicated to the sport’s promotion.
Prior to seeing the lacrosse player, Kirby was seeing Callum Turner, an actor with whom she had starred in Queen and Country (2014). Meanwhile, Turner has moved on and is currently seeing singer and pop sensation Dua Lipa.
In addition to portraying Queen Elizabeth II’s troublesome sister in the Netflix series, Kirby costarred with Joaquin Phoenix in the 2023 military epic Napoleon. She portrayed a pivotal role in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. She will also feature in the 2025 release of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, the sequel to Mission: Impossible.
