“Ittefaq” – able to entertain audience on Big Screen
The recent release of Siddhart Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha’s, Ittefaq is able to win the hearts of the Audience.
This movie is based on Murder Mystery and was released recently. The movie would be satisfactory for you despite a few niggle. It is the remake of 1969’s Original Ittefaq.
The movie starts with the Character Vikram Sethi (Siddharth Malhotra) seen in a tearing hurry to get away from the cops in his Mercedes.
On the same night a terrified girl Maya (Sonakshi Sinha), runs out on the road. There is dead body that lies right next to a shattered glass table. Moreover, there were two more deaths and Vikram and Maya are suspected for committing the crime. The two try to defend themselves by telling each other a liar. The movie even gets heated up with the arrival of the investigating officer Dev (Khanna).
The movie have many gaps but all of which are filled with scared people, white lies and half-truths, and the person or persons who know who did it. As the movie proceeds, we get some more clues regarding the murder case. But the question Still remain unanswered that was Maya really Innocent? Wasn’t there any other person in the flat with Maya?
There are a few Flaws in the movie too. Firstly, the background music wasn’t promising at all. The dialogues of the Investigating officer were mostly one liner old repeated Dialogues which many a times could make you feel irritated. The climax of the movie is satisfactory. The suspense is revealed in the last and it will surely make you bite your nails. Where on one hand, one cannot find a good humor in the movie, but there are certain characters which could bring the smile on your face.
