Estimates for the first weekend’s revenue for the Alia Bhatt-led Jigra suggest that it brought in about Rs 16.50 crore. The movie’s opening weekend receipts were Rs 4.50 crore on Friday, rising to Rs 6.50 crore on Saturday, and then roughly Rs 5.50 crore on Sunday.
Jigra fetches Rs 16.50 Crore

Now that the movie needs to maintain and finally demonstrate some kind of trend at the box office, all eyes are on the Monday test. Jigra is an action thriller aimed towards urban audiences, and it is Alia Bhatt and Vasan Bala’s first joint venture. PVRInox and Cinepolis, the top three national chains, brought in a total of Rs 11.80 crore over the three-day period, accounting for 67% of the business. Due to the genre restriction, the movie hasn’t done much outside of metro areas, with a significant chunk coming from multiplexes.
Without Alia Bhatt, Jigra’s box office would have been much lower. Her presence has helped the film’s 3-day figure, but it hasn’t had any impact on the movie’s outcome. The Monday hold is critical, but it seems unlikely that a miracle will occur in this instance given the unimpressive 3-day trend.
Jigra still have potential to tread ahead

Thanks to robust backend deals from digital and satellite players, nobody will lose money in spite of the film’s low box office performance.
