The story of Modí takes place during World War I, and the 72-hour period “will become a turning point in his life, ultimately solidifying his reputation as an artistic legend.” Barry Navidi Productions and IN.2 Films praised the movie in good spirits.
In a 72-hour whirlwind through the streets of WWI Paris, Italian bohemian artist Modigliani tries to outwit police officers, explosives, girlfriends, and critics in an increasingly frantic search for a place to exhibit his paintings, according to the film’s synopsis.
After more than ten years, Depp is back in the director’s chair. The Brave, starring Marlon Brando, was the actor’s directorial debut.
From October 16 to October 27, the Rome Film Festival will take place over an extended period of time.
