This weekend, John Abraham will be back with The Diplomat. The hard-hitting film, which was directed by Shivam Nair, is witnessing a slow start seeking the status of advance bookings.
Two days before their debut, the advance reservations for the John Abraham films began this afternoon. The pre-sales reception is really poor. However, it is predicted that the film might see a surge in advancements, tomorrow.
The film mostly relies on walk-ins and spot bookings for a respectable opening due to its genre and subtle marketing. It is currently predicted to debut between Rs 1 crore and Rs 2 crore, which is a terrible beginning for a John Abraham film.
On the other hand, the film will do well over the weekend if its content is able to impress the audience.
The blockbuster wave of Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava will serve as the main obstacle for The Diplomat. Even while it moves at a somewhat moderate pace, it could yet surpass all of the recent weekend releases.
The true-story thriller drama will compete against Kesari Veer and Rise of the Dragon and Chahaava. The film should try to take the lead over the other two, even though all three can get along well throughout the Holi weekend.
