Bitter Sweet Hell and Connection, two gripping dramas that aired in the same highly sought-after Friday-Saturday time slot, demonstrated their mettle on May 31 by achieving their greatest viewership figures to date for their third episodes.
Bitter Sweet Hell, a black comedy starring Kim Hee Sun, achieved a spectacular personal record for the series when its third episode averaged 6.2 percent countrywide, according to Nielsen Korea.
At the same time, Ji Sung’s riveting criminal drama Connection reached an all-time high for its nationwide average that night, coming in at 7.0 percent. Furthermore, with an average rating of 2.8 percent among viewers in this important demographic, the drama took the top spot in its time slot among viewers aged 20 to 49.
