K-drama Hierarchy fetches second rank on global list of non-English TV shows

The TOP 10 list of shows that were most watched between June 3, 2024, and June 9, 2024 was released by Netflix on June 12, 2024.


South Korean web series Hierarchy is currently ranked second among all non-English TV programs worldwide.

With 26.6 million hours viewed, Hierarchy was able to take the second place on the list. It also received over 3.5 million views in just three days after becoming live. With 51 nations included in the top 10, including Korea, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, France, Nigeria, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and more, the program has managed to secure a spot.

The Atypical Family

Third place on the list goes to the K-drama The Atypical Family, which has 19.8 hours of playtime and 1.8 million total views. It had previously occupied the fourth position on the list for four weeks running. On June 8, 2024, and June 9, 2024, the two last episodes of the show will air, marking the conclusion of its run.

The show is directed by Bae Hyun Jin and written by Choo Hye Mi. In addition to Lee Chae Min, the series’ ensemble cast also features Pyo Young Seo, Kwon Eun Bin, Seo Bum June, Lee Min Goo, Ji Hye Won, Kim Jae Won, Lee Won Jung, and Kim Tae Jung.
