Kalki 2898 AD trailer garners mixed reactions from people on the internet
Many people on social media applauded the action and visual effects, several pointed out parallels with Dune: Part 2.

On June 10, Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD trailer was unveiled. The futuristic action-thriller with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in the major roles thrilled fans. Cinema enthusiasts, however, had mixed opinions after seeing the trailer.

A user said, “Wow… just wonderful… A blockbuster is loading …. It will be very difficult for us to wait for it..(three claps emojis).” A fan added, “Looking good.…Prabhas the rebel Star (star emoji).” Another wrote, “Bgm is good, vfx is top notch… but not sure about the content… hope it works out.” Someone wrote, “Dune & Star Wars (laughing emojis).” A fan lauded the director and wrote, “Salute to Nag Ashwin’s Vision and and his efforts for making this masterpiece.”
