Kang Daniel officially reveals fanbase name FLOWD after signing in with Artistic Round Alliance
Kang Daniel’s success and adaptability have been demonstrated by his solo career.
Kang Daniel surprised fans on August 29 by revealing his official fandom name, FLOWD. This unusual moniker, which was created by combining the letters FLOW and Daniel’s D, represents a close bond between the artist and his fans. It represents people who are enthralled with Kang Daniel’s musical flow and those who are lost in his universe to the point of losing track of time.
This announcement follows Kang Daniel’s July 25 signing of an exclusive management contract with Artistic Round Alliance (ARA), a momentous career leap. A former director with expertise at key players in the business, such as YG Entertainment, BIGHIT MUSIC, and KONNECT Entertainment, formed ARA, a recently established entertainment company.
In 2019, he established KONNECT Entertainment and put out his debut EP, Color on Me, following the suspension of his contract with LM Entertainment. His first solo music show victory on KBS2’s Music Bank came from the album’s lead hit, “What Are You Up To,” which shattered records on the Hanteo Chart.
With the release of the Color trilogy in 2020, which featured the highly successful songs Cyan and Magenta, Kang Daniel broadened his discography. His work on State of Wonder and Refresh with ZICO and Inverness further demonstrated his range of musical abilities. The smash song Antidote was featured on his fourth EP, Yellow.
In addition to hosting Mnet’s Street Woman Fighter, he made his acting debut in the TV series Rookie Cops. His debut full-length record, The Story, demonstrated his breadth of artistic vision, and his world tour of concerts enthralled spectators everywhere.
