On social media, Kanye West, also known as Ye, disclosed that he solely follows Taylor Swift on Instagram. The internet was not pleased by it, urging him to distance himself from his long-running dispute.
Ye wrote that he only follows one person on Instagram in a screenshot that he shared on his stories. He is simply following Taylor, as seen by the subsequent post on his stories. Additionally, he used a side-eye emoji to signal that he was following Taylor on X, formerly Twitter.

“LEAVE. HER. ALONE. ITS BEEN 16 YEARS,” a fan wrote. Another added, “The Grammys shall be interesting.” A third commented, “BULLY (Taylor Version).” An X user mentioned, “This is so ??$/& the obsession 16 years later is insane.” Someone wrote, “The obsession is insane, mind you the VMAs was 16 YEARS AGO! Give it a break! Get help!”

Ye also expressed his gratitude to the Grammy Awards for nominating him for his song Carnival, “Thank you to the Grammies for nominating Carnival.” He also tagged Taylor in the post to which a fan commented, “So nobody is gonna talk about the Taylor Swift tag?” Another added, “aw is someone a swiftie???”
For the unversed, Kanye stopped Taylor during her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards to say that Beyonce was deserving of the honor. When he specifically mentioned her in the song “Famous” in 2016 and included her picture in the music video without getting her consent, the matter became more heated.
