Kate Middleton successfully concludes her chemotherapy; aims to resume work soon

The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, gave a positive health update while receiving treatment for an unidentified malignancy. She used social media to share her relief and a meaningful statement about her treatment journey along with the news that her chemotherapy had finished. A video montage of her, Prince William, and their kids—Prince George, 11, Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6—spending quality time together.

“As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” she wrote.

”Cancer treatment is a scary journey, especially for the ones closest to the person. “With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before,” she continued. “And with that, a new perspective on everything.”

She also talked about how William and she were reminded by her diagnosis to cherish the small but significant things in life that we frequently take for granted. She is “doing what I can to stay cancer-free” for the time being. Even after finishing chemotherapy, she still has a long way to go before she fully recovers, therefore patience is required.

“I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can,” she revealed. She concluded on a humble note by thanking supporters for their warm wishes and expressing gratitude for her phase which she entered with “a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life.”

The Princess made headlines around the world in March when she revealed that she had cancer. Her hiatus from public life happened during a difficult period when King Charles III and the Princess of Wales, two well-known British Royals, were both facing fatal illnesses.

The King has returned to his formal duties and he and his wife, Queen Camilla, are going to Kenya for a Commonwealth visit. Regarding the Princess, rumors have it that, as her health permits, she might go to the Annual War Memorial in November.
