Kesari Chapter 2 starring Akshay Kumar as India’s coveted lawyer and statesman, C Sankaran Nair, has hit it first month. The film also starring Ananya Panday and R Madhavan minted Rs 50 lakh today.
Kesari Chapter 2: Box office growth and decline
On its fifth weekend, Kesari Chapter 2 has hit the steeper levels after witnessing a good run. On Day 30, it earned a net earnings of Rs 50 lakh at the domestic box office. The historical drama featuring the settings of the pre-independence era thereafter collected Rs 40 lakh on the fifth Friday.
The slight increase is a result of the holiday which might also add on tomorrow (Sunday).
In the opening week, Karan Singh Tyagi’s work fetched Rs 45 crore. In the second week, it earned an impressive Rs 27.75 crore. Thereafter it minted Rs 9 crore and Rs 5.45 crore in the third and fourth weeks.

Kesari Chapter 2 is facing the concurrently released films Raid 2 and Mission: Impossible—The Final Reckoning. Raid 2 has been active in the theaters for two weeks, while the Tom Cruise actioner was released on May 17, 2025.
