Khakee: The Bengal Chapter: Release date, streaming deets, cast, plot and more

Netflix has finally released the eagerly anticipated series Khakee: The Bengal Chapter. It stars Jeet, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Ritwik Bhowmik, Aadil Zafar Khan, Chitrangada Singh, Pooja Chopra, Aakanksha Singh, Mimoh Chakraborty and Shraddha Das in the lead roles. It also features a caemo by former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly.

Neeraj Pandey, Debatma Mandal, and Samrat Chakroborty wrote the program, which is directed by Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray. Khakee: The Bengal Chapter takes place in West Bengal in the early 2000s.

In an environment where politicians and gangsters control power, it tells the tale of IPS Arjun Maitra, who is tasked with enacting change for the better. Maitra then acts as a catalyst, challenging the corrupt system to restore order and paving the way for justice in the midst of gang warfare, political intrigue, and shifting allegiances.

Both fans and critics have responded favorably to a seven-episode series that lasts from 37 and 62 minutes. Speaking at the show’s trailer presentation event, Neeraj Pandey assured everyone that the show’s intensity has been raised to a whole new level. Additionally, he asserted that the entire cast has given outstanding performances to guarantee that Khakee: The Bengal Chapter is a continuation of the well-loved story.

“Both the directors, Tusshar and Debatma, along with the entire crew have worked tirelessly to bring this narrative to life and we hope that it will captivate the audiences,” he added.
