Kim Sae Ron’s family was in the dark about her unpublicized marriage and abortion

According to Kim Sae Ron’s family, they were unaware that she was married and in need of an abortion. In a video posted by the Garo Sero Institute on March 20 KST, Kim Se Ui discussed the audio recordings that Lee Jin Ho had supplied, which disclosed that Kim Sae Ron was married and seeking an abortion.
In her initial response to Gold Medalists bringing criminal charges against Kim Sae Ron’s family and the Garo Sero Institute, Kim Se Ui questioned whether they were tacitly acknowledging that the photo was authentic as there could be no justification for bringing a sexual harassment lawsuit if the image was fake.
Kim Se Ui stated, “Kim Sae Ron’s mother was crying uncontrollably yesterday. One staff member gave her a hug and said she was so thin, like she was just skin and bones. Her mother handed us a handwritten letter titled ‘To Sae Ron, In Heaven,’ while crying. Actually, we planned to hold a press conference today, but her mother said she physically could not move. We saw how difficult it was for her to even stand up. It’s heartbreaking.”
Lastly, he talked about how the family responded to the accusations about Kim Sae Ron had an abortion and being married that were spread via Lee Jin Ho’s video.
Kim Se Ui added, “Her family members told us they never heard of Sae Ron getting married. And the abortion? They said they couldn’t understand why Sae Ron would have said such a thing to her manager. Also, there was a claim that no one paid for the hospital bills so her manager had to pay the ₩20.0 million KRW (about $13,700 USD). Her family was in tears, demanding proof of the claim. They couldn’t accept the claims.”
