Kim Sae Ron’s mother announces seven demands from Kim Soo Hyun and his agency; read here

Kim Sae Ron’s mother called on Kim Soo Hyun to take responsibility and criticised GOLDMEDALIST for minimizing the charges in a message on Garosero’s YouTube channel on March 15, 2025. She also attacked reporter Lee Jin Ho, claiming that he played a significant role in the circumstances leading to her daughter’s death.

According to Koreaboo’s interpretation of the statement translated from Korean to English:

Demand number one: Kim Soo Hyun must acknowledge is that he dated Kim Sae Ron when she was a little child. He needs to publicly apologize and acknowledge his error in order to put an end to the situation.

Demand number two: GOLDMEDALIST must to formally apologize for allegedly fraudulently denying Kim Soo Hyun’s relationship with Kim Sae Ron for three years through media manipulation.

Demand number three: The group must express regret for failing to appropriately honor Kim Sae Ron’s efforts and her status as a founder member.

Demand number four: GOLDMEDALIST must publicly apologize for asking Kim Sae Ron to reimburse her KRW 700 million (about USD 482,000), which her mother feels was unfair treatment.

Demand number five: Kim Soo Hyun was not first brought up in order to focus on Lee Jin Ho and malicious reporting. The family wants nothing from him but an official apology.

Demand number six: The family only made public Kim Soo Hyun’s private images to bolster Kim Sae Ron’s allegations. Since the images had to refute false information propagated by the agency, Sae Ron’s family hoped for mutual cooperation.

Demand number seven: The family also wants an apology for Lee Jin Ho’s invasive actions, which included trying to visit Kim Sae Ron’s columbarium and calling after the funeral.

On February 16, 2025, 24-year-old Kim Sae Ron breathed her last. Although there has been no formal report of foul play, Garosero’s investigation recorded Kim Sae Ron’s family point to a relationship between her and Kim Soo Hyun when she was still a minor.

Goldmedalist, on the other hand, has refuted these allegations, claiming that their relationship didn’t start until 2019 or 2020, after Kim Sae Ron had achieved adulthood.

Additionally, Garosero cited a diary that purports to show that Kim Sae Ron had been in a relationship for six years, from her sophomore year in high school.
