According to Korean media reports, as the debate surrounding her late daughter continues to heat up, Kim Sae Ron’s mother is getting ready to personally contest the claims made by actor Kim Soo Hyun and his agency, GOLDMEDALIST.
Kim Sae Ron’s mother, A, is presently writing a rejoinder to refute the assertions made by GOLDMEDALIST, according to a March 14 Sports Kyunghyang story.
She has developed facial nerve paralysis as a result of the extreme emotional pressure, which makes it impossible for her to perform her regular tasks. A close family friend, B, has been speaking on behalf of the devastated family due to her declining health.
B, who has known Kim Sae Ron since birth, has assumed the position of spokeswoman, speaking to the press and sharing details about the actress’s personal hardships. She previously released information on the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute, identifying herself as the late actress’ aunt.
Furthermore, it has been stated that B’s biological daughter kept in regular communication with Kim Sae Ron and participated in conversations on her statement in March of last year. It was said that Sae Ron herself referred to B as her aunt with affection, citing the two families’ longstanding affinity.
GOLDMEDALIST made an effort to discredit the person who appeared on Garosero Research Institute in its official statement, claiming that the person was only Kim Sae Ron’s mother’s acquaintance and not a real family member.
The agency said, “The whistleblower who appeared on Garosero Research Institute and made false claims alleged to be a family member of Kim Sae Ron, but they are actually an acquaintance of her mother. This informant, whose identity is unclear, is distorting facts and spreading rumors.”
The family of Kim Sae Ron, however, has vehemently denied these allegations, contending that GOLDMEDALIST was well aware of B’s significance in the late actress’s life. According to the family, B was actively involved in Kim Sae Ron’s professional pursuits and played a significant part in helping her throughout her career.
Sae Ron’s mother has taken the difficult decision to make a direct statement despite her continued health issues because she feels that GOLDMEDALIST’s official response contains multiple falsehoods. The family has accused the agency of trying to conceal the facts and shield Kim Soo Hyun from public scrutiny.
While acknowledging that the two actors were in a relationship, GOLDMEDALIST’s most recent statement claimed that the relationship only occurred between the summer of 2019 and the fall of 2020, following Kim Sae Ron’s legal adulthood. This stands in stark contrast to earlier assertions made by Kim Sae Ron’s relatives and friends, who maintain that the actress was still a minor at the start of the relationship.
Her family’s allegation that Kim Soo Hyun’s legal team coerced Kim Sae Ron into paying a 700 million KRW penalty charge, purportedly adding to her emotional distress prior to her death, added to the wildfire of accusations against the actor.
