The Queen of Tears star, who is renowned for his calm on-screen persona, broke down in tears as he pleaded for public sympathy and refuted the allegations of his claimed previous connection with Kim Sae Ron. According to Joongang, Kim Soo Hyun stated, “Except for the fact that both of us were actors, our relationship was like any other ordinary couple”. He added, “We dated with good feelings, and after some time, we broke up. After that, we couldn’t stay in touch the way we used to. Like any other couple, reaching out to an ex after a breakup is something one must approach with caution.”
Kim Soo Hyun even denied rumors that he was responsible for 24-year-old Kim Sae Ron’s 700 million KRW debt from her 2022 DUI conviction.
