Kim Soo Hyun rated as the most loved actor in South Korea; know the top 10
The poll, which was just released, was completed by 1,777 people in South Korea who were at least 13 years old and did not live on Jeju Island.

Gallup Korea’s 50th anniversary 50 Things Koreans Like study shows that Kim Soo Hyun is the most adored actor in South Korea, followed by Namkoong Min and Kim Ji Won.
These are the top ten.
Kim Soo Hyun
With 6.4% of the vote, Kim Soo Hyun tops the field and displays his acting prowess in both dramas and motion pictures. His appearances in the fantasy series My Love from the Star and the variety drama The Producers, for which he received three Daesang (Grand Prize) awards, helped him rise to prominence as a Hallyu star. He most recently acted in the Korean drama Queen of Tears.
Namkoong Min
Namkoong Min came in second with 2.9% of the vote. In 2006, he first came to notice with the neo-noir film A Dirty Carnival. In 2020, Min won the Grand Prize at the SBS Drama Awards for his role in the drama Hot Stove League. The show also led to his third nomination for Best Actor at the Baeksang Arts Awards.
Kim Ji Won
With her powerful and emotional performances in K-dramas such as Queen of Tears, Fight for My Way, and others, Kim Ji Won has captivated fans. Kim Ji Won chose to concentrate on acting after receiving training in singing, dancing, and acting. She played keyboard and provided backup vocals for Younha in their early career. She also made an appearance in the music video for Gossip Boy.
ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo
Cha Eun Woo, who garnered 2.7% of the vote, is still becoming more well-known because of his eye-catching performance and developing visuals, especially with younger people. In addition to his membership in the boy band ASTRO, Cha Eun Woo has received praise for his performances as Lee Su Ho in Wonderful World and the well-known drama True Beauty.
Kim Nam Joo

His adaptable persona extends to film, television, and award show hosting, garnering him international acclaim for his starring parts in highly regarded Korean dramas.
Song Joong Ki
Song Joong Ki received 2.3% of the vote, indicating that his charisma and adaptability continue to make him a public favorite. He first gained notoriety as a cast member of Running Man and for his role in the historical coming-of-age drama Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Since then, he has received high praise for his performances in popular dramas and movies.
Choi Bool Am
Choi Bool Am, a well-liked actor with a long history in Korean cinema and television, garnered 2.2% of the vote. Choi Bool Am started his acting career in 1976 and rose to fame in the television series Prince Suyang as Kim Jongseo.
Go Doo Shim
Veteran Go Doo Shim, who received 2.0% of the vote, is praised for her strong and moving performances, especially in the melodrama and family genres. Renowned for her adaptability, she has also won praise for her parts in unusual movies including My Mother, the Mermaid and Jealousy from 1983.
Kim Go Eun
Kim Go Eun, who received 1.8% of the vote and completed the top 10, is still loved for her realistic and skillful roles in both television and movies. Her recent performance in Exhuma serves as evidence of how people continuously connect with her distinct acting approach.
