Kim Soo Hyun’s agency seeks help from Kim Sae Ron’s friends to establish his innocence

In the ongoing scandal involving the late actress Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun, new information has surfaced online. According to Allkpop, the actor’s agency, GOLDMEDALIST, is asking her friends and the former labelmate’s agency authorities for immediate help.

Rumor has it that they may have obtained evidence that the premature passing of Kim Sae Ron was not solely caused by GOLDMEDALIST’s demand for 700 million KRW.

An entertainment industry insider commented on March 19, stating, “GOLDMEDALIST has reportedly obtained materials and data through various channels that provide insight into Kim Sae Ron’s schedule and emotional state in the months leading up to her death.”

The agency added, “They have also met with individuals who corroborate these findings and are now trying to convince one or two key figures to speak publicly through an interview or press conference.”

According to Yonhap News, Kim Gap Soo, the host of the YouTube channel Maebal Show, has officially apologized after receiving backlash for his offensive comments on the late actress Kim Sae Ron.

His offensive remarks during a March 17 video segment about Kim Sae Ron and actor Kim Soo Hyun’s alleged romance sparked the uproar. He stated, “They’re making it seem like dating a minor is some huge crime. When people date, there can be a big age gap”.

On March 18, the Maebal Show discussed the subject live. The hosts formally apologized for their error, conveyed their sincere remorse, and said: “We sincerely apologize for the controversy caused by yesterday’s broadcast. We deeply regret this incident.”

On hindsight, Kim Sae Ron was the subject of harsh public scrutiny and was regularly the target of derogatory internet remarks post her DUI prosecution in 2022. It was recently revealed that Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron were dating. The actors began dating in 2015, when Kim Sae Ron was only 15 years old, according to Garosero.

They emphasized: “While we understand that an apology should be specific, detailing the matter could further escalate the controversy or cause unintended harm. We also apologize for this limitation.” Post the backlash, the channel erased off the degrading comments.
