In honor of Commonwealth Day, King Charles has shared his music playlist through a partnership with Apple Music.

The playlist, which was released on Monday, includes 17 songs by different artists, such as Bob Marley and the Wailers’ “Could You Be Loved,” Kylie Minogue’s “The Loco-Motion,” Michael Bublé’s “Haven’t Met You Yet,” Diana Ross’s “Upside Down,” Grace Jones’ “La Vie En Rose,” and Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s “Crazy in Love.”

The British monarch stated in a video message for the Apple Music 1 radio program The King’s Music Room, “Throughout my life, music has meant a great deal to me. I know that is also the case for so many others.”

“It has that remarkable ability to bring happy memories flooding back from the deepest recesses of our memory, to comfort us in times of sadness and to take us to distant places,” King Charles added.

“But perhaps, above all, it can lift our spirits to such a degree, and all the more so when it brings us together in celebration. In other words, it brings us joy,” the king stated.

Beyoncé is “incomparable,” according to King Charles, adding that she is “so exceptional that I could not resist including her music.” He also congratulated the singer on winning Album of the Year at her first Grammy.

The king reminisced the glory of Marley, deeming him a “great man.” “I remember when he came to London to perform when I was much younger, and I met him at some event,” King Charles recalled.
