Kota Factory brilliantly captures the reality of an IIT student’s existence, making a particular place in everyone’s hearts.Like the first two seasons, the third season starring Jitendra Kumar was well-received. However, one concern that remains is why the series is presented in black and white format. Mayur More, who portrayed Vaibhav Panday, shares the reason behind the unusual format in a recent interview with Digital Commentary.
Vaibhav Panday aka Mayur, stated that their director of photography, Jenr Paul, had two monitors during the shooting process: one in color and one in black and white. This is despite the fact that there are multiple possible interpretations of it.
He also mentioned that the actors used to view the scenes on the monochrome monitor following their photo shoot. Mayur went on to say that it was a significant experiment and that, happily, it was permitted to be done in black and white.
“Jerin used to fear and say ‘this lighting is all for black-and-white. If I mistakenly say that the show will be in color…’ It’s because we started feeling that the world of Kota Factory is looking good in black and white but at the same time also were confused whether the show will be released in black and white or not,” Mayur stated.
Can the viewers expect Kota Factory Season 4?
The director Pratish Mehta inquired about the possibility of Kota Factory Season 4 in an interview with OTTPlay. He expressed his belief that, regardless of the approach they have used thus far, they will make an effort to be as accessible as possible and share the experiences of the teachers and students.

He went on to say that they have been traveling in the same direction and that, should a fourth season of the program be approved, the cast will continue down this similar route while attempting to keep the content as relatable as possible.
While Jitendra Kumar aka Jeetu Bhaiya, stated that it is crucial to investigate that reality with each new season. He said that it is vital to visit that place and see how things are evolving and changing, as well as how to incorporate them into the stories. Jitendra also mentioned that it is a means of engaging people while being articulate.
