Fans of Kush Shah, one of their favorite actors from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, were shocked to learn on Friday that he was leaving the show. In a video posted to the show’s official YouTube channel, the actor reflected on his path.
He had a wholesome farewell party thrown for him by the entire cast. The starcast wished him luck.
‘You have given me a lot of love’
In a clip, Kush mentioned his final note stating his departure from the show, “When this show started, when you and I first met, I was very young. You have given me a lot of love since then. And this family has given me as much love as you have given me. I have made a lot of memories here. I have enjoyed a lot here.”
He added, “I have spent my childhood here and most importantly I want to thank the creator of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Asit Kumar Modi for this journey. He trusted me so much, made my character so interesting and always inspired me. Because of his trust, Kush became Goli today.”

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the well-received Indian TV programs with the longest runtime. It centers on the diversely minded members of the Gokuldham Co-operative Housing Society.
