Lim Ji Yeon faces backlash for endorsing Jung Woo Sung amidst out-of-wedlock child issue

Lim Ji Yeon, an actress, comes under fire for supporting Jung Woo Sung during the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards. Following the revelation that he was fathering an unwed kid with model Moon Gabi, the actor was lately enmeshed in a huge controversy.

His first public appearance was at the 4th Blue Dragon Film Awards on November 29. He was said to have originally decided not to go to the ceremony because of the issue, but he did show up. He openly apologized for “provoking anxiety” while on stage and stated that he is taking full responsibility’ for the act.

Lim Ji Yeon was one of the celebrities that could be seen supporting him when the camera turned to the crowd at that moment. The video became viral very fast, sparking a great deal of criticism. Many specifically compared her response to that of Hyeri, who was sitting just next to her but had a different look.

Many also drew attention to the Reply 1988 star’s ‘toxic’ relationship with her ex-boyfriend Ryu Jun Yeol, who was accused of ending their relationship in favor of Han So Hee.

Moon Gabi announced her pregnancy on Instagram back in November, being careful to withhold the identity of the child’s father. But later on, a dispatch report stated that Jung Woo Sung was the father.

When it was revealed that he had dated a non-celebrity woman for a long time, controversy broke out like wildfire. He was accused of cheating on his fiancée after their timeline allegedly fell apart. The scandal was further fueled by reports that Moon Gabi intended to marry him but that Jung Woo Sung had different plans.
