Lovely Runner set to make OTT debut on Netflix; release date out

After gaining enormous popularity during its official run, the new K-drama Lovely Runner is now receiving an OTT release for a global audience. Even though there was no accessible platform for the global audience, the K-drama garnered a lot of attention from viewers both domestically and internationally due to its romantic storyline and chemistry between the lead actors.

Netflix declared on July 15, 2024, that Lovely Runner will be made available for online streaming to users of their platform.
On August 1, 2024, the show will formally join Netflix’s portfolio, joining a long list of K-dramas that already includes Queen of Tears, King The Land, Business Proposal, Vincenzo, My Demon, Welcome to Samdalri, and more.
About Lovely Runner
Drawing inspiration from Kim Bbang’s web novel The Best of Tomorrow, the show’s story revolves around popular celebrity Ryu Seon Jae and his devoted fan Im Sol. But one day, Ryu Seon Jae commits suicide, leaving Im Sol inconsolable. In a miraculous turn of events, Im Sol gets the chance to go back in time and meet the high school version of Ryu Seon Jae. She establishes a close bond with him in an attempt to save him from a tragic event.
The series’ ensemble cast also features Song Geon Hee, Lee Seung Hyun, Jung Young Joo, Seo Hye Won, Song Ji Ho, Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon.
