Lovely Runner’s OST album gets terrific pre-orders, breaks records in the Korean music industry

A huge smash is the Lovely Runner soundtrack, which shattered all previous records for Korean OST albums pre-ordered.

The most talked-about drama of the week is Lovely Runner, the newest original series on tvN, which follows Queen of Tears’ incredible journey. With stars like Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon, this romantic time-slip series is attracting a lot of attention and is predicted to lead streaming rankings for the rest of the month.

A well-known South Korean entertainment and media company, CJ ENM, revealed on June 5th that pre-order sales of the OST CD for the tvN original series had reached a historic level. “The pre-order quantity far surpassed the production volume estimates,” the company mentioned.

With an astounding 54 tracks, the “Lovely Runner” soundtrack offers a diverse range of musical genres to further heighten the attraction. The drama’s made-up boy band, Eclipse, which consists of Ryu Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok), Baek In Hyuk (Lee Seung Hyub), Hyun Soo (Moon Xion), and Jay (Yang Hyuk), has six catchy songs. Baek In Hyuk plays the head of the group.

Apart from the cheerful songs, Eclipse’s soundtrack consists of 10 vocal tracks, 38 instrumental tracks, and 38 lyrics-free tracks. The series’ incredible OST record had additional contributions from artists such as N.Flying and Jongho of ATEEZ. When it comes to skill, Byeon Woo Seok sings on a song called Sudden Shower.
