Maddock Films has revealed its most ambitious slate, which combines superhero themes with horror-comedies. The company has revealed a slate of eight interconnected films, building on the popularity of its most recent releases, which include Street 2, Munjya, and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Over the following four years, these films will be released.
In 2025, Maddock Films’ much awaited film universe will begin with the release of Thama, which will feature Ayushmann Khurrana in a vampire role. The Diwali holiday season will see its release, closely followed by Shakti Shalini on December 31.
With the release of Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya 2 on August 14 and Chamunda on December 4, the excitement of the horror-comedy world will continue in 2026.
Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 3 will be released on August 13 and Maha Munjya on December 24, the upcoming year looks to be as exciting. With the simultaneous premieres of Pehla Mahayudh on August 11 and Doossra Mahayudh on October 18, which coincide with the Diwali festivities, the world will finally come to an epic end in 2028.
