According to reports, a police probe has been launched over Malayalam actors Prayaga Martin and Sreenath Bhasi of Manjummel Boys due to their purported association with gangster KK Omprakash. The actors’ encounter with the known goon at his Kochi hotel room has been verified by the police, according to an OnManorama report.
As stated in the article, the mobile phones that were taken from the gangster serve as the foundation for the current inquiry.
For those unversed, criminal KK Omprakash and his Kollam-native associate, Shihas, had been arrested by police after they received a tip-off regarding a drug transaction ahead of Alan Walker’s music event in Kochi on October 6, 2024.

After the criminal was captured by the police, they raided his hotel room and found eight bottles of wine and liquid substances. Authorities discovered more than 4 liters of alcohol and drug residue in the room, according to a Manorama News story.
Three separate hotel rooms were occupied by the suspects, who were all reportedly subjected to blood testing. The same day that Bhasi and Pragaga are thought to have visited the gangster, October 5, the article added that, the suspects also planned a DJ party.
The remand report stated that on the specified day, the actors and approximately twenty other people had reportedly visited the goon. In addition, the court stated that Omprakash was later released on bond following his apprehension since the police had not been able to seize a significant amount of drugs for commercial use.
