Mammootty’s management team refutes rumors of his hiatus due to cancer diagnosis

Mammootty is regarded as one of his generation’s most successful actors. Recently rumors circulated on social media that the actor had received a cancer diagnosis and would be taking a hiatus from showbiz. In a recent statement to Midday, the actor’s management team has now denied the rumors, stating that he is doing very well.
The statement read, “It is fake news. He is on vacation because he is fasting for Ramzan. He is on a break from his shoot schedule as well because of that. In fact, after the break he will go back to shooting for Mahesh Narayanan’s film with Mohanlal.”
Fans are excited to witness Mahesh Narayanan’s film, which will star two superstars, Mammootty and Mohanlal. The movie, which is tentatively titled MMM (Mammootty, Mohanlal, Mahesh Narayanan), also stars Fahadh Faasil.
Lijo Jose Pellissery’s 2023 film Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam earned Mammootty his 15th Filmfare Award.
He recently starred in Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse. In the movie, Dominic, a struggling detective and former police officer, offers to track out the owner of a misplaced pocketbook.
