Millie Bobby Brown has been playing Eleven since 2016, however, now her tenure in her original role is coming to an end with the upcoming fifth season of Stranger Things. In a recent interview, the Enola Holmes actor expressed her sincere feelings about wrapping up early ten years of her work.
Brown has talked candidly about the character’s departure as the last season of the well-liked Netflix series approaches. While there is currently little information available about the highly anticipated season, 21-year-old Brown recently discussed her experience in an interview with Entertainment Tonight about her most recent movie, The Electric State.
She shared, “Ten years of my life… I started when I was 10 years old. My whole life has been dedicated to the show. My career was built on the show.”

“Upon reflection, you’re not only saying goodbye to the characters that you have built but also the people that you have met, the person that you have become, the lessons that you have learned. It’s so much to think about,” she continued
According to Brown, the final days of filming on the set were “really emotional.”
She continued by describing the farewell as being incredibly emotional, emphasizing the show’s profound significance in both her career and heart.
Brown stated, “It’s really hard to process. It took me a while to kind of get over all of it because it just really is an emotional goodbye.”
The fifth season of Stranger Things will premiere later this year. On March 14, viewers can watch Millie Bobbie Brown and Chris Pratt in The Electric State on Netflix.
