Netflix special Enola Holmes has started off with production of season 3 in the UK along with the original cast, Millie Bobby Brown, Louis Partridge, and Henry Cavill. Philip Barantini who recently directed the global hit Adolescence, will bear the torch for the crime-mystery drama.
Barantini will work again with the Adolescence team as Jack Thorne is set to handle the script writing. Based on the book Enola Holmes Mysteries by Nancy Springer, the series features the bold, feisty young detective Enola (Brown), who is Sherlock Holmes’ sister.
Shooting begins for Enola Holmes 3
The upcoming plot is set in in Malta where “personal and professional dreams collide on a case,” wherein the ambience is “tangled and treacherous.”
Brown, meanwhile shared a hilarious clip with Partridge on the first day of shoot. The duo were decked up in casuals channeling their own vibe.

“We’re in production but not without @barantini at the helm,” she wrote. Before the clip played, a message was displayed which read, “Enola Holmes day one.”
Brown has acted in a series of thriller series including Enola, Stranger Things, and the most recent, Damsel. She will now be seen in a double role as an actor and producer, supported by PCMA Productions.
Mary Parent, Ali Mendes, and Alex Garcia will serve as the producers under Legendary Entertainment. More importantly, Brown’s spouse, Jake Bongiovi, will be the executive producer in collaboration with Isobel Richards for PCMA, Joshua Grode for Legendary, and Michael Dreyer.
