Sometimes even bad moments in life result in making life better, and this statement stands correct for the movie “Vazandar”. With the faster internet and smart phones in hand, everybody is not only watching viral videos but also making videos and the leading ladies of the movie, Kaveri and Pooja get targeted by one such viral video which makes fun of their fatness.

This one incident bring a storm in their lives and they decide to lose weight by undergoing extreme workout, taking crash diets or the weight-loss pills, etc., but does all this really helped them?

The movie is directed by Sachin Kundalkar and he has taken proper care that the movie also makes the viewer smile while making them realise the problems faced by the two ladies. Sai Tamhankar and Priya Bapat have given a wonderful performance and it can be seen not only in their acting but also in their physical transformation, which shows their devotion towards their job. Siddharth Chandekar and Chirag Patil have also given their 100 percent in supporting roles while guest appearances by ChetanChitnis, Sameer Dharmadhikari and Gaurav Ghatnekar add a little flavour to the movie but in the end, Sai and Priya can be called the heart of the movie.

Vazandar is an attempt to slam the norms of the society which seem to be more artificial rather than natural. The movie talks about the importance of inner beauty without creating unnecessary drama and also by keeping humour alive. It also gives a message that every person should be cautious of his actions as it should not hurt anyone else’s feelings.
The movie imparts the message that, ‘It’s important to be fit and not about fitting into the society’s size chart’.

It is definitely a onetime watch but be sure that you don’t go to watch it empty-stomach as the movie opens with scenes of tasty and lovely dishes.

I’m going with Three and Half out of five for VAJANDAAR.
