Based on Stephanie Laing’s real story, Byrne will play Amanda Ogle in Stephanie Laing’s Tow. The plot centres on a woman who fights with a tow company to get her money back. She needs to recover the $21,634 amount. Ogle has also joined Tow as an executive producer. Laing was so inspired by the producer’s determination and will that she wanted to make a film about her life. The filmmaker praised Ogle as a “true champion” with a story of “perseverance and tenacity.”
Byrne, Liang, and Annie Weisman had previously collaborated on Apple TV’s Physical, thus the film marks their reunion.
