Pollywoood movies are showing amazing growth now a day. Punjabi Superstar Gippy Grewal’s latest film Manje Bistre has set a new benchmark in the industry! The film helmed by Baljit Singh Deo starring Gippy Grewal, Sonam Bajwa, Karamjit Anmol and Jaggi Singh in pivotal roles is a rom-com (Romance & Comedy) revolving around a Punjabi wedding.
According to B.O. trade reports, Menje Bistre has had an excellent 1st weekend. The film opened to a fabulous collection of Rs 2.25 crore on its release day. It’s strong hold on the box-office continued over the weekend as the film minted Rs. 2.18 crore on Saturday and Rs. 2.59 crore on Sunday. Thus film making a total of approximately Rs. 7.02 crore. The long weekend courtesy Good Friday worked in the film’s favour at the ticket windows.
According to reports, the film is a hit on international waters as well. In Australia it made Rs 75. 83 lakh, in New Zealand it collected Rs 21.81 lakh and in UK the business on opening day was Rs 25.52 lakh.
