Eminem’s 12th studio album is now underway and is expected to come out in 2024, Dr. Dre revealed during his recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Dr Dre stated, “Let me tell you something. Let me explain something to you right now, Eminem is working on his own album, which is coming out this year.”
He also said, “And I actually talked to him, and he said it’s OK for me to make that announcement right here on this show. So, he has an album coming out — I’ve got songs on it, and it’s fire. I’m actually gonna hear the entire album for the first time for tomorrow.”
He added that despite working with Slim Shady on the forthcoming record, the co-founder of Death Row Records confessed doubt regarding the album’s final sound.
“[Eminem] holds his music close to his chest, so I haven’t even heard everything,” stated the rapper and producer.
The co-founder of Beats Electronics received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier this week. Snoop Dogg and Curtis 50 Cent Jackson, who appeared with Dre on Jimmy Kimmel Live, attended the ceremony to offer their support, as did Eminem.
