Suryaveer and Shibani Kashyap all set to give a modern touch to Sufi Songs, call it “Neo Sufi”

The very versatile singer, Suryaveer has received immense love from the audience for recreating famous songs like “Yaara Teri Yaari’, “Yeh Dosti”, “Purani Jeans and the dynamic version of “Papa Kehte Hai 2018” and many more.

Recently, Suryaveer and Shibani Kashyap announced a collaboration to remake the song of legendary Punjabi singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan “Ankhiya Udeek Diya” and Reshmaji’s “Ve Main Chori Chori”. The talented singers who are giving their voice to remake this song plan to give a new age touch, yet keeping the soul of the original song alive.

Suryaveer said, “I feel elated to work with Shibani, someone who I adore and respect since a long time. She is an impeccable singer and I’m very much looking forward to working with her, and I am sure the collaboration will bring fruitful results.”He further added, “This is a very old but rich traditional folk song, personally I am a big fan of soulful voice of Nusrat Ji and Reshma Ji and because we follow folk music and what we play is modern music we decided to remake it by giving it a modern touch, naming it “Neo Sufi” inspired by Sufi song”.

The song is definitely going to be a treat to all the fans of Suryaveer and Shibani as they will get to experience a different and new touch to the song. The song is expected to release by the end of this month.
