Tuesday night in Times Square, New York City, Shakira “devoured” her free pop-up show in celebration of the release of her most recent album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. Shakira’s first studio album in seven years was released on Friday, and she’s finished putting her career on pause “for love.” Not only was the event free to see for those in attendance in New York but it was also live-streamed for foreign viewers. The ‘surprise’ pop-up concert made a stunning show on the TSX Entertainment billboard.
Hips Don’t Lie, one of the all-time greatest-selling songs, was the Colombian pop star’s opening song at the TSX Stage, getting the crowd to sing and dance.

The singer lit the stage and grabbed the attention of the huge audience with her timeless beats and captivating onstage energy. Afterwards, she performed songs from her recently released album, including Cómo Dónde y Cuándo, and ended the evening with a BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53 remix.
The Waka Waka singer posted an Instagram video to tease her amazing performance, writing, “So excited to announce a SURPRISE performance tonight in Times Square LIVE on the @tsxentertainment stage thanks to @vinfastus! Join the Wolfpack at 7:15 pm ET! 💃💋🐺 #LMYNL #VinFast #ShakiraTSX.”
