Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s recently released romance drama Thandel was a box office triumph. Netflix has now surprised viewers by revealing the movie’s OTT release.
Netflix revealed the OTT release date for Thandel on Sunday with a poster of the film that starred Sai and Chaitanya.
The streamer posted, “A journey across borders, a story beyond limits. Watch Thandel, out 7 March on Netflix in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam!”
The film, which was directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Bunny Vasu under the banner of Geetha Arts, is based on a true story about Srikakulam fisherman who went fishing in Gujarat and unintentionally drifted into Pakistani waters. It also stars Prakash Belawadi, Aadukalam Naren, Karunakaran, and Kalpalatha in lead roles.
Sacnilk claims that Thandel brought in ₹65.49 crore at the domestic box office and ₹88.25 crore globally. Nonetheless, the movie’s producers claim that it made over ₹100 crore globally.
Next, Sai Pallavi will star in Nitesh Tiwari’s eagerly awaited film Ramayana, meanwhile Chaitanya has not yet revealed his next project.
