Naga Chaitanya-Sobhita Dhulipala engagement: A sneak peek into the ceremony, and dinner arrangement

After dating for a while, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala finally made their union official on August 8, 2024, when they got engaged. news agency, Pinkvilla has reported some details from the ceremony, which is causing quite a stir on the internet.

In keeping with Telugu tradition, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita held a traditional engagement ceremony.  A traditional pooja preceded the ceremony, and then there was an entirely vegetarian Andhra lunch.

The event was also attended by Naga Chaitanya’s half-brother Akhil, stepmother Amala Akkineni, parents Nagarjuna Akkineni and Lakshmi Daggubati.

As the ceremony came to an end, Nagarjuna Akkineni hosted a dinner in celebration. The actor used his official X (previously Twitter) account to make the official announcement of the couple’s engagement.

The actor welcomed Sobhita into their family and expressed his sincere message. It was speculated that Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala were dating since 2022, following the former’s divorce from Samantha Ruth Prabhu. From the moment Sobhita arrived in Hyderabad to promote her movie Major, the two of them have been spotted together in a number of places.
