Known affectionately as MS Subbulakshmi, Madurai Shanmukhavadivu Subbulakshmi was a well-known Tamil Carnatic singer and actress. She is a multilingual singer. At the age of ten, MS Subbulakshmi released her first recording, proving that she was a true child prodigy.
