Netflix confirms Emily in Paris Season 5; explore the potential plot, cast, other deets

Netflix has verified the new season of one of the most loved romantic comedy-drama series Emily in Paris. The streamer posted a clip online featuring the filming of season five in Rome. The caption read, “lights, camera, amore. EMILY IN PARIS: SEASON 5 is now in production!”
The clip shows Lily Collins, as Emily Cooper, in a new hairdo strolling through the streets with a new character, Marcello, portrayed by Eugenio Franceschini. A fan wrote, “Hope she stays with him,” another added, “Our Emily with her new haircut.”
About Emily in Paris Season 5
The fifth season carry forward the storyline at the conclusion of season four which saw Emily shifting to Italy. Sylvie (as Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) confers a new opportunity to Emily in Agence Grateau’s new Italian office. She then shifts to the village of Solitano with Marcello, the owner of a luxury cashmere brand.
The ensemble includes Lily Collins, Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Ashley Park (Mindy Chen), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, and Lucien Laviscount (Alfie). Nonetheless, Camille Razat, who portrayed Camille, will not return for the new season.
There is no official announcement of the new faces in the star cast. Meanwhile, a character named Geneviève, a touted rival for Emily has not renewed her contract with the production for the new season.
Lucas Bravo, in the garb of chef Gabriel stated in conversation with IndieWire, “The ‘sexy chef’ was very much part of me in Season 1, and we grew apart season after season because of the choices he makes and because of the direction they make him take. I’ve never been so far away from him.”
Nonetheless, Bravo will be back for the new season. In addition, viewers also witnessed the channelisation of Alfie’s character as he moves on with a new partner.
