Hanni from NewJeans was recently chosen to testify on workplace bullying at a state audit in October by the National Assembly Environment and Labor Committee.
Hanni from NewJeans announced on the messaging app Phoning that she will be speaking on behalf of the members before the National Assembly on the topic of workplace bullying on October 10, 2024. She also praised the fans, telling them not to worry about her or the members and for their everlasting support. Ju Young Kim of HYBE and the K-pop idol were asked to attend the audit earlier.
But Hanni and ADOR, the firm that represents NewJeans, were questioned about the circumstances. According to the staff, they are verifying the information and will release a statement at a later time.
In a previous YouTube livestream, NewJeans discussed Min Hee Jin’s dismissal from ADOR’s CEO role and called for her return. Hanni, one of the girls in the group, waited in the HYBE office corridor when a different group and their manager came by.
The manager apparently told the group to ignore her as they walked back, even though they had first greeted each other. The artist clarified any potential workplace bullying within the organization by expressing her astonishment and disbelief about the incident. They stated that nobody from the company is left to safeguard them now that Min Hee Jin has been fired. This was after the incident was made public.
The five members of ADOR’s NewJeans are Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein. On July 22, 2022, they made their debut with the song “Attention,” which went viral right away.
